The 2010 edition of the Viking Race is hold in a region that is called “Cathare” and mainly situated in three French departments that are part of two regions: the “Languedoc-Rousillion and the Midi-Pyrénées:

With the central position of Limoux for the contest, many tourist sites can be reached in both region and the three departments. The different Internet links just give a short example of the wide variety of locations that can be visited and that our proud in showing their typical attractions.

Toulouse is in any case worth a visit, for its ancient big town along the river Garonne that was founded by the Romans, the various museums but as well for its technological part such as AIRBUS and “La Cité de l’Espace” a famous and international space park.
